Who we are
This website is operated by Heymann Institute, an independent advisory institute focused on digital transformation and technology governance. This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, write to us at admin@heymanninstitute.com.
What we collect
Contact form. When you use the form on our Contact page, we receive the details you enter: your name, your email address, your organization (optional), and your message. The form also contains a hidden anti-spam field that people never see or fill in; it collects nothing from you.
Newsletter form. The newsletter signup on our homepage does not currently store or transmit your email address anywhere. If we launch a working newsletter, we will update this policy first and state exactly where subscription data is kept.
Hosting logs. The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel may process standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) in server logs to deliver and secure the site.
We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts on this site, and the site does not set tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
How we use it
Contact form submissions are sent to our institute mailbox as an email so we can respond to your inquiry. That is the only purpose. We do not use your details for advertising, we do not add you to mailing lists you did not ask for, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Who processes it
Two service providers touch this data on our behalf:
- Resend delivers the contact form email from the website to our mailbox.
- Vercel hosts the website and the contact form endpoint, and keeps standard hosting logs.
We do not share your information with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Contact messages live in our mailbox for as long as we need them to handle your inquiry and keep a record of our correspondence. If you want a message deleted, ask us and we will delete it unless we have a genuine reason to keep it, which we will explain.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Send your request to admin@heymanninstitute.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, local law may give you additional rights; we honor access, correction, and deletion requests regardless of where you are writing from.
Where we operate
The institute has offices in the United States, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates, and our email is processed by providers based in the United States. This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Changes to this policy
If we change what the site collects or how we use it, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
