Accessibility Statement

Our standard
The Heymann Institute wants www.heymanninstitute.com to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. The standard we aim to meet is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
Where we are today
The site is being actively remediated against that standard. Work in progress includes color contrast, keyboard navigation, focus visibility, form labeling, and image alternative text. Until that work is complete, some pages may not yet meet WCAG 2.1 AA in full, and we would rather say so plainly than claim otherwise.
What helps in the meantime
The site works without cookies or scripts of any tracking kind, has a consistent page structure, and keeps text as real text rather than images wherever possible. Article pages use headings so screen reader users can move through sections.
Tell us what is not working
If you hit a barrier on this site, we want to know about it. Use the form on our Contact page or email admin@heymanninstitute.com and tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using. We read every report and will reply. Accessibility feedback goes into the same remediation work described above.
